I became a part of Human Rhythm in September of 2001. It was
especially interesting how I was introduced to James, the lead
singer/guitarist in the band. To make a long story short, I answered
an ad for a female singer looking for musicians to help complete a
band. Seeking different avenues, I responded. The individual I
met was Valerie Lynn, local radio DJ and aspiring singer. After some
light conversation, I learned of her relationship with James and Mike, the
other guitarist in HR.
Since things were not progressing with Val and the guys were more
interested in finishing the Human Rhythm CD, James and Mike had already thrown in the
towel. But no sooner than when the towel hit the floor did
Val e-mail James with my phone number.
James set up an audition with me at Mike's house and the rest
became history. I was asked to record new bass lines over
the old tracks they had already completed to add my own flavor the
